Mahi (work) has started at Tūtira as part of our Tūtira Mai Ngā Iwi project. The guys from Hawke’s Bay Regional Council have been spraying blackberry at the north-eastern part of the lake. One of them is our whānaunga, Bruce Morrell. They are clearing the area for our Hapū planting day. Look out for future pānui for when you will have the opportunity to plant some trees and help heal our roto (lake).
