Maungaharuru-Tangitū Trust have the opportunity to put up to 20 young people per year with drivers licenses into a 4 year, fully paid apprenticeship in the horticulture industry thanks to Mr Apple, Bostock New Zealand and Steve Potbury of Fruitcraft.

This 4 year apprenticeship will give you skills in all facets of orchard operations from tractor maintenance to orchard management, as well as paid part-time study towards a National Certificate in Horticulture.

With regular wage reviews and opportunities to try new roles, earn excellent wages, and gain Nationally Recognised certificates, this is a great chance to get into one of Hawkes Bay’s most promising career paths. Check out this video.
