Please note, due to Cyclone Gabrielle in February 2023 and the categorisation of the Marae reservation as Category 3, the Marae is no longer operational at Tangoio. Instead, the Marae Trustees have secured a temporary facility in Napier city, see below.
Whare Whakaaraara is a temporary facility available for hire until Tangoio Marae is rebuilt at a new location over the next few years. It has a hall / meeting space, kitchen and toilet facilities as well as outdoor basketball courts.
