MTT are pleased to announce the appointment of Geoff Hamilton (BBS; MInstD, CA) to the role of MTL Independent Chairperson.
Originally from Hastings, Geoff brings over twenty-five years’ experience in accounting, finance and business development from some of New Zealand’s largest corporates. He built Telecom Rentals Ltd, a start-up company formed during the Global Credit Crisis, which won the Deloitte Fast 50, and sold for over $100m. He has also worked as Head of Finance for Fisher & Paykel Finance; CEO of Ngāti Awa Group Holdings in Whakatāne; and as Chair of Surf Life Saving New Zealand.
Geoff is a Chartered Accountant (CAANZ), member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and a member of the Institute of Finance Professionals (INFINZ).
MTT also wish to acknowledge and mihi to Rodney Wong (previous MTL Independent Chairperson), who resigned late last year due to health reasons.
