Pukapuka
The new book tells two of our legends – one about Maungaharuru, the other, Tangitū. It is made by our Hapū, for our Hapū. The stories are brought to life with Justin Puna’s kupu reo Māori, and Karina Reti’s beautiful illustrations. The pukapuka includes an English translation so it is accessible to all. We hope whānau enjoy reading it, especially between the generations – Nannies to mokopuna and mokopuna to Nannies!
How to get your copy
There is a free pukapuka for every household registered with Maungaharuru-Tangitū Trust. If you come to the Book Launch, you will receive a special signed copy. If not, an unsigned copy will be posted to you. Please ensure we have your up-to-date address and contact details!
Wānanga Reo
Justin Puna will lead the afternoon Wānanga Reo. We will have fun learning te reo with a moana theme and practising waiata.
