Today Hon Willie Jackson and some kaimahi from Te Puni Kōkiri visited the Marae, Kōhanga Reo and whānau homes in Tangoio. They came for a kōrero and to see the situation with their own eyes.
The Minister acknowledged the kaha, māia, and wairua of our whānau.
“What you’ve got is each other, and you can build from that”
“Just to see the kotahitanga amongst you, to see the spirit, it’s wonderful to see.”
