On the weekend of 20 – 21 February we will be hosting a Wānanga Reo at Tangoio Marae.  The wānanga will run all day Saturday and half a day on Sunday.  We will post the program shortly.

This Wānanga is for all learners of te reo Māori, whether you are at the beginning of your journey or somewhere further along the path. It is about coming together as whānau and learning together, using te reo together and celebrating being from Tangoio, mai i Maungaharuru ki Tangitū.

The kaiako (teachers) will include reo experts from our own whānau.

We will be visiting Tūtira where we will hear kōrero about our tīpuna, our history and our connection to the land and waters in that special place.
